Brit Butt Light 2013 - The Don Quixote Tour

With much better appreciation of what was required to put a rally together, and having paid more attention to the nuts and bolts of designing the Brit But Rally, the 2013 Don Quixote Tour was a much improved effort for all concerned!

Brit Butt Light 5 was entitled "The Don Quixote Tour". Given the famous Don's propensitry for tilting at Windmills, the theme of the rally was "mills", in one form or another, paying homage to Britain's rich industrial heritage.

As usual, the bonus book was e-mailed to entrants a week before the rally start to allow plenty of time for route-planning "off the clock". At the riders' meeting on the morning of the rally, details were given of a text-in bonus, with a 15 minute window. Tere was also a compulsory bonus - Mill Meece Pumping Station.
